Roger’s extensive experience includes being a past president of the International Association of Arson Investigators, a principal member of the NFPA 1033 technical committee for the IAAI, and a director with the IAAI Pro Board. Roger has been a CFI in Illinois for 30+ years and recently retired with 32 years of service with State Farm Insurance, and was a manager in their Special Investigative Unit. He also has a masters degree of science and management and organizational behavior from Illinois Benedictine University and also has earned a Bachelors of Science in fire investigation and police administration from Eastern Kentucky University. Roger will still remain as a Deputy Chief at the Clarendon Hills Fire Department, giving him the unique perspective of both the insurance and public aspects involving large loss fire investigations. His experience and knowledge have made him one of the most recognized leaders in the fire investigation industry.
